14 filmmakers focusing on ethics in Iran
TEHRAN, Aug. 30 (MNA) -- Fourteen Iranian directors are participating in a project, in which they are scheduled to make short films on the theme of ethics in Iranian society.

The project has been organized by the Art Bureau, the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency reported on Monday.

Abdorreza Kahani, Farzad Motamen, Shahed Ahmadlu, Bijan Mirbaqeri, Shahram Mokri, Hamid Nematollah, Mohammad-Ali Bashe-Ahangar, Vahid Musaian, and Mohsen Amir-Yusefi are among the filmmakers.

Bahram Tavakkoli, Bairam Fazli, Naqi Nemati, Ali Shah-Hatami, and Parviz Sheikhtadi are other participants in the project.

“Rain” by Musaian, “Chicken” by Ahmadlu, “Glass Room” by Sheikhtadi and “The Child and the Wind” are some parts of the project, which must be completed until the end of October 2010.

The Art Bureau, which is affiliated with the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization, will debut the short films in February during the 29th Fajr International Film Festival in Tehran.

The bureau plans to publish the short films in a collection and sell them on the Iranian home video network.
