Kristina Michelle, Robin Sidwell, Wayne Jackson will act in the play which is written and directed by Rayani.

The play, inspired by Brecht’s work under the same title, is about a female animal that is transformed into a human being. Following the operation, she cannot remember her past, so physicians try to help her recall it.

Cosponsored by the Center for Dramatic Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the University of Manchester, the play will be performed in English with Persian subtitles.

Former director of Tehran’s City Theater Complex Rayani has previously directed “Sound and Fairy” and “One Said Yes, One Said No”.
