Based on the poem by Saed Baqeri, the symphony is composed in four movements namely Ascension, Germination, Hope and Resistance.

The performance will be held by the Iranian Music Association and the Rudaki Foundation, the Enqelab Cultural Center of the Azadi Art and Cultural Complex and District 9 of Tehran’s Municipality cosponsored it.

The week, which is celebrated annually in Iran, begins on the first day of Iran-Iraq war (1980-88), known as the Sacred Defense in Iran, to honor the martyrs and veterans of the war.
