The artwork centers on the art of religion, claims the artist, saying, “I am not trying to infuse a specific attitude into the viewers; I am merely seeking the truth through colors and paints.”
“This collection of 29 paintings manifests the jihad of man with himself and its connection with the invitation of God,” he told the Persian service of ISNA.
He then explained that his works are divided into three stages; the first centers on general recognition, the second depicts inner understanding, and the third directly refers to the prophets and imams. All these make a complete collection that pursues one common goal.
“Sacred art has been mingled with man since his creation. I have been searching for the truth and believe I must depict the victory of light over darkness,” he added.
The exhibit will run through December 25 at the museum located on Baradaran-e Mozaffar St. near the Felestin Square.
